In 2001, LRS began representing the needs of Mexican companies in the US. Currently, LRS represents FAMSA (GFAMSA) with its real estate needs in the USA, completing around 10 lease transactions per year. In 2007, LRS expanded the opportunity by acquiring and developing retail and industrial properties for FAMSA valued at over $30M, including a 200,000 SF Distribution Center and 100,000 SF of existing retail. With a portfolio in excess of 400 locations in both USA and Mexico and a market cap of $2 billion, FAMSA is expanding rapidly in North America. Within the past 6 years, FAMSA and LRS have completed over 30 transactions in California, Texas, Nevada, Illinois and Arizona, as well as 250 new stores throughout Mexico.

Foro is a unique mixed-use lifestyle concept which LRS intends to build in Dallas and in many of the 38 markets across the country with significant Latino populations. Foro is designed principally with the Latino consumer in mind. The Hispanic community is the fastest growing ethnic market segment in the US. This market is severely underserved in all category groups. The Latino market with its $1 trillion in purchasing power is of increasing interest to investors, retailers, and consumer goods companies. The tenant mix, quality of design, and sports offering will also attract the general market interested in an alternative to the status quo. La Plazita Sports & Entertainment will anchor the complex, featuring 10 covered multi-sport courts (size 60ft x 120ft). Featured sports include small sided soccer, known as cascarita in Mexico and other parts of the world, beach soccer and beach volleyball, boxing, and tennis.
